BOSTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Boston Airport - Logan International Airport is on a strip of land facing the city and four miles out of town towards the east. Information booths and foreign exchange facilities are easily available. There is short term, valet and disabled passenger parking. Long-term parking is nearby, connected to the airport by a free shuttle bus. There are many ways to get from the Airport to the centre of Boston - car, taxi, water shuttle, bus and train.

Car
Parking is available at the central car park, connected to all terminals via pedestrian bridges or moving walkways. Major car rental companies operate at the airport. There are car hire desks in the American Airline side of Terminal B, while the US Airways side has car hire telephones and your car from all major car rental companies can be collected at Logan.

Water shuttle
It takes about seven minutes to reach the city center by the water shuttle. This is a courtesy bus service (route 66) running from all terminals to Logan dock and the MBTA airport station. There are water shuttles, catamarans and water taxis from Logan dock to Boston Harbor. This can be an interesting and unusual method of transport from the Airport for tourists.

Bus
MBTA buses.448, 459 and CT3 serve the airport and various locations in Boston. It takes between twenty to thirty minutes depending on traffic conditions to get into town.

Taxi
Taxis are available at all terminals twenty-four hours a day and the journey into town takes about thirty minutes.

Rail
Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority operate routes from Logan airport. A free shuttle bus service links the station to the terminals.
